I submit these guys get together and form a publishing house, much like EA. Cuz it looks like EA is against PC gaming, in general. The companies they save, will be themselves. :)
I mean, what a great concept. In the BIzniz of selling PC parts. Well who buys the most, and the most expensive pc parts? Gamers. So....insure sales, by making sure games stay good, and .........just plain stay around.

I dont get what you mean by EA is against pc gaming. Care to elaborate? Plus if you merged the chip and gpu companies all together then it would be us consumers that got screwed on the deal. I say this because they would have no competition meaning they could charge what ever they wanted for their product.

and you dont think EA is what you are describing? What i described is for these 4 gaming companies, to pool cash and make a publishing/gaming software company ........that can compete head to head against EA.
Because in the end, that is what is gonna be healthy. How EA is slowly owning EVERYTHING gaming related, is hurting PC gaming. That is fact. Look at your local PC game shelf in your local store. Now think about how it looked 5 years ago. Yeah. Its not in good shape.

Remember, competition is good.

Take PS3 vs X360. People may moan - "omg teh 360 is teh suck Its a piece of crap" but they never think that that 360 is making your PS3 cheaper.
