Joystick in BF2

Can you use a joystick in BF2 to fly planes and helicopters? If yes how to u enable it?

Yes you can, plug it in and adjust the controls in options.

Plug in your joystick (hopefully USB) and ensure that Windows recognizes it.

Run joy.cpl and check that your joystick is listed and check that it is working properly under 'Properties'.

Run BF2 and hit 'Options', then 'Controls'. Under the secondary bind column for each action, double click in the box and then assign the joystick button/axis by clicking/moving it.

Hit 'Apply' when you're done.
