War College Ribbon...

So i started my account a couple of weeks ago and amassed a few losses before deciding to go for this ribbon. Luckily i have only gotten 143 losses and have around 275 wins so its not too out of reach. My question is, i know that everyone just says to switch teams at the end of a round to avoid the loss but that does not seem to be the case anymore. Does anyone know how the disconnect/changing teams works now? Seems if i am on a loosing team and i switch teams at the end i still get a loss now. Even when i disconnect from the server before the game is over i still get the loss. Is the because of the new patch perhaps? Or am i just not doing something right. Maybe you have to switch teams when your tickets are not ticking down because of u having less flag captures? Maybe you have to switch teams or disconnect before you hit 100 tickets or less? If anyone could shed some light on this subject it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When you disconnect you get a loss. I don't know about you but I switch over all the time and I get wins..

the best way to get this ribbon from scratch without cheating is to play as china on wake island exclusively as they always fkn win

Play on servers that don't have autobalance and don't swap teams, and choose the strongest team, if you lose one, go to the other team and stick with it, generally one side is far stronger than the other and that goes on for several rounds, unless you want to keep changing sides at the end, but some servers and players consider that an anti-game tactic, oh, and create a squad on the winning side, it sucks a lot to be tossed to the loser side at the end of a round because you are doing the whole lone wolf routine.

Wow nice stat padding thread guys. You do realise switching to the winning team all the time is deemed stat padding. I love it how they all want the stat padders ribbon and on the way to getting it they get their stats wiped, oh the irony.

Same here, i rather just play then to be starting at the tickets every 5mins wondering if i will be on the winning side.

I'd love to be able to get this ribbon, but face it, it's practically impossible to achieve it legitimately. I won't switch to the winning team just to get this ribbon but it'd be nice if the requirements were changed to something reasonable. I hate that thing being the only ribbon i don't have... kind of unfinished business.

Nope, find a good server, and stick with the winning team.......I play USMC almost exclusivly, trying to get my Navy Cross, and USMC wins 9 times out fo ten on this server. All the regulars and clan guys play on USMC, seems like whoever is MEC always mass at the hotel round after round and get owned.

One night USMC won 35 rounds in a row.......I am at 2.55 and have not been switching...........just find a good server and stay on the strongest team...

And EA isn't randomly wiping stats of anyone who gets the WCR...

It just seems nearly impossible to get that ribbon. I think I do pretty good with wins and I only have like a 2.30:1 win/loss ratio. The killer is all the random disconnects, kicks, auto-balances, crashes, and whatever else happens. Just last night, I had 70 kills and 10 deaths and about 180 pts when I got sick of our commander not doing any UAVs or anything, so after at least 5 minutes, I said "commander do uavs" no answer... then 5 minutes later a UAV... and I said "it took you long enough, retard" and then he kicked me because apparently he was an admin... so then I rejoin and I'm on the losing team and I'm really ****ed. So I tell him what I think of his admining, didn't swear or anything... and then he banned me. I was tempted to just stick around and play on the other team and crush him, but my brothers were on the other team and I was mad at getting a loss because of him. I wouldn't have even cared about the loss if he didn't get the win that he didn't earn. It's funny because he joined our team after we made an awesome comeback beat him when I first joined in the middle of the game.

I like getting the different awards, but I will never make an effort for this ribbon. It's pointless to me. Congrats to the guys that do get it, but this ribbon is so tainted because of the cheating way many go about getting it.

Yeah. Unlike some I ENJOY being on the crappier team. Cuz when we do pull out that win...its sooooo sweet.
