installer PROBLEM please HELP!!!

i bought Euro Force and installed the ea downloader and then the thing pops up to start downloading and i get a message that says, "This Page Cannont be displayed." I now that it is not my internet connection because i can go on the internet and xfire and vent and so on but that stupid thing dosent work. Does anybody now my problem please help i am getting really mad!!!

Yea i got that too. I hit the lovely refresh button on my browser. And it was fixed.

Try to copy the URL from the EAD into IE and see if it works from there.

I'm having the same problem and so far there's nothing i've found that helps.

If you've got a firewall running, check the ports detailed on this ea support page are open: http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg...?p_faqid=11084


I've gone so far as phoning EA here in the UK but they have no idea.

Are you using IE7? If so then that's your problem as it needs to be IE6.

If your using xp enable the firewall on your network connection and disable any other, including anti virus and see if that helps.

Yes i Ma using Internet Explorer 7 and i tried to uninstall it but when i go to control panel/add-remove programs, and there is no internet explorer thing in there, so i tried to just delete the internet explorer folder in my program files and it dosent let me,

Does anybody now how i can delete it or something so i can install 6 because i have the installer for it but it dosent let me install it.

Go back to control panel, add-remove programs!! at the top of add-remove programs is a little box you have to put a check mark in, it says udated software next to it, after you check the box then you can scroll down and see windows internet explorer 7 beta!!! After you remove it and restart your computer, everything should work perfect!!!! i did the same thing last night, and was playing euro forces before i had to go to bed!!!!!!

Ive been having the same problem, just reinstall EA installer and try redownloading.

Ya i tried that and it is still not there, so i dont now, but i really want to fix this stupid problem so i can play the game.

also when i went to add-remove programs then checked that box and went down to windows xp and then the updates, i see a hole bunch of updates but after the update it just has a number not a name or anything like that, but i dont know.
