i tell ya was just playing karkand as american sniper
something very suprising happened i got 14 pistol kills and 8 claymore kills
i knew all of you are going to either call me claymore whore or tell me that "this has already been stated, we knew clamores are cheap" but this is not the point of this thread, no far from it. what i've come to tell you is the power of the pistol, i was crouching in one of the alleyways and when people would come across the corner i would unload on them. i, as i was a sniper, had no kevlar, and everyone else who i shot, with my pistol mind you, either had AKs, PKMS and most of the time kevlar. All i did was fire very rapidly with the pistol and even though they would charge me, prone on me or just fire at me randomly 9 out of the ten times they were the ones to die, not i. So to get to the point, the pistol when used in when your opponent is suprised is a deadly weapon.

yes, when you are sniper you are forced to use pistol, knife and grenades and im really surprised by how good they are.

i knife squads once in a while and so always knew that the knife was good against an inexperienced enemy, but i always thought the pistol was weak, until recently. and grenades have always been useful, but even more so when theyre your best option.

it confirms what ive always suspected, that 99 percent of snipers have absolutely no skill, reflexes, intelligence or memory. i can knife them with them knowing my presence for 10 seconds, futily trying to shoot me with the sniper rifle...... why not use pistol, knife, grenades, claymores??

because they have no skill, thats why. even so, claymores require no skill so i thought theyd use em.

I used to use my pistol 90% of the time for medium-long range attacks when I was using the DAO-12 as my primary weapon.

I LOVE the pistol.

It's nicely accurate and nicely powerful. You just have to have a quick and steady trigger finger
