When I am trying to hide I always use the third person view to see whether or not I am hidin well enough.. It only takes a sec to check..

yep there is press "c" - i sometimes use it going up ladders to see whats waiting 4 me at the top!

"c" doesn't do anything unless you're in a vehicle or climbing a ladder.

I always crouch when hiding next to walls or in buildings. Never prone cuz of this.

It is a problem that needs addressing. Even crouching in a building can cause problems when you move right into the corner.

It happens in the US buggys too - if you're a medic (though it probably effects the other kits) I've noticed your backpack goes through the seat you're sitting in! But then in that instance it isn't effecting gameplay I guess.

Still, some truly terrible clipping goes on in this game.

Yeah I killed a guy on Karkand the other day like this. He was in one of the watchtowers on the bridge and I just put 3 or 4 shots into his legs. It was really cheap but hey, all is fair in love and BF2 right??
