Is it just me or is the euro voice acting horrible, They sounds like a ****ing imperial probe droids on starwars. Just anoying as hell.. The new maps are pretty ****y to. This patch should have been free. Not to mention new bugs Ive never had before...

and u also save memory... the other languages don't load into memory so it will play smootherComment

I use all English VO too. Just remember that having it turned off will sometimes allow you to hear a mec or chinese guy hiding somewhere. You'd miss it if you have all English VO.Comment

I don't use English VO only for reasons which have been discussed here countless times, but yes, the voice acting in Euro-force is HORRIBLE. It seriously sounds like they went to some Eastern European Special Needs school and asked them to do the voice acting, or like they asked someone who never spoke english in their life to read over the lines without even telling them what they are saying. EA wasn't even creative about it. More than 3/4s of the dialogue is exactly the same thing the USMC/SAS says except the emotional tone is all off. I'll probably get used to it, but for now I feel embarassed to be a member of the human race.
Atleast armored fury won't have any new voice acting.
Anyway, I've only played one map so far (which I like), so I'm not trying to judge EF as a whole. Ultimatley its the maps that matter most to me.Comment

lol you know it, I dont mind the other VO's from original bf or even SF but seriously EF sounds like they just pulled some random drunken hobo off the street and said they would buy him some mc nuggets if he layed down some voice tracks.. The one I personaly hate the most is "What kind of ammo do you require?!" You can tell EA / Dice spent about 3 days slaping this p.o.s. together and the other months trying to clear up bugs so they could release it lolComment

IMHO, on scale of 1-10.
USMC - 9.5, good voices, well acted mostly. Some commmander actions sound kinda funny. Commander dealing first aid made me chuckle. "FIRST AID HERE!"
Chinese - 8.4, language is very foreign to me, but I find it oddly beautiful. Acting seems somewhat subdued given situation.
MEC - 6.5, VO's seem over the top. Most annoying is MEC commander doing spots. I liked DC VO better.
SAS - 8.3, like most of it. I don't like that they call medics and everything medical "star-line".
Russian - 9.0. "ITSA SNIPIER!"
EU - 3.2. Kermit the frog goes to war. Their radios have the most static so you can barely hear them, and I actually thought maybe they were just using the USMC VO's with sound filters over them. Why did they do this? They should have had german, french, and english, and maybe italian or something depending on whether you were blue, squad member, squad leader, or commander. Sometimes a french accent will come up in game that doesn't sound that bad really, but most of the other ones are terrible.Comment

Yeah, it seems someone just recorded it in their bedroom. Very quiet, you can hardly hear what they are saying, some random sayings and just sound stupid.
Its better when someone standing next to you speaks its easier to hear but its very poor.Comment

I heard from my friend who understands mandarin that the Chinese VO's are horrific as well. Being Chinese myself (but Cantonese), it does seem overtop. I think the US VO's the best still

Yeah the only voice actor in EF that sounds slightly reasonable is the squad leader voice, which is the one with the French accent. He puts at least a LITTLE emotion, except when he says he's sorry.Comment
