Well after my first experience of the Euro Forces maps on 32 player servers I have to say I was fairly disappointed. The maps seemed too big for 16-a-side and basically everyone was in vehicles; there was little to no infantry skirmishes at all, even on the alledged infantry map - Great Wall.
So, following the advice of another forum patron and based on the knowledge that nothing changes between the 32 and 64 servers, I decided to give Euro Forces a go on a 64 player server. Now, if I recall correctly it was originally stated that Euro Forces didn't support 64 players (or was it 64 player servers?)... anyway, somewhat ironically I found that EF really, really, comes into its own with the greater number of players! The balance between armour and infantry is much better and having up to 64 players plays beautifully into the hands of the larger maps.
So, if you were /are a Euro Forces skeptic then before giving up on Euro Forces give the "unsupported" 64 player servers a shot. I highly recommend it. :)
