Re: Whats a good round to you.
Both! In any case, they're not mutually-exclusive.
To me, a great round is one in which my team wins and I feel like I've contributed significantly to the win. I'd rather miss out on medals and have a team victory than be on the losing side and win gold. (Ideally, though, my team wins and I take out the gold!)
Some of the best rounds I've played recently have been as USMC on Kubra Dam, 64-player. My sister has become a big fan of the game and every time we play Kubra Dam as USMC, we make it our goal to capture the Intake from the very beginning of the round; to keep the MEC's commander assets permanently destroyed (she'll play Special Forces, I'll play Support); and to defend the Intake from any MEC attempts to reclaim the flag. In so doing, we consistently win the map (mainly through ruining their commander's toys and depriving the MEC team of an airfield) and because we feel so integral to the win, those victories are particularly sweet. -

I like a round that I felt like I had some input to helping out others...as you can see by my K
ratio, it doesn't bother me too much if I die...it does if people are not getting the support right. When I play Sniper etc now, I do pretty well with the K>D, but support and medic, not so worried...

Re: Whats a good round to you.
A good "line" fight where it's basically a ton of people fighting to take hold of a single point (need not be a flag...think D-Day). We push them back, then they push us back, etc.
Regardless of who wins, as long as the points are close, I consider that a good game.
Not a good game?
1. lopsided fight (even if we're winning)
2. constant death by sniper (lol)
3. constant death by air (no longer an issue)
4. round robin/musical flagsComment

Re: Whats a good round to you.
My favourite round was on Wake the other day - playing as Chinese, we were dominated, their choppers flew to the north village constantly and we were destroyed from there. managing to convince a few blokes to join a defensive squad, load up on 3 or 4 jeeps around that base and holding off the waves of choppers. We proceeded to kick butt for the next half dozen rounds.
The best part wasnt getting big kills from the BHs, or flag defend points, but knowing that i was able to bring about a change in our momentumComment

A good round to me is when your squad sticks together and supports each other, doesnt matter if we win or lose to me.
Another good aspect is (RARELY) when the battles go on for a while and the tickets are slow to bleed even if theres a full server. Full on head to head battles from flag to flag with many troops, (not lots of rambos running around) seem to be the best rounds to me.Comment

Playing public finding some people who know how to work in a squad. Nothing beats some rounds of good teamplay.Comment
