For those of you saying that your name for the EA account was taken, and u had to make another one that wasnt the one u had for BF2.
1. Log in with ur account name on the EA downloader, on the "Edit GameSpy Nickname".
2. Once you have successfully logged into your account with the name of the account you have for the EA downloader, (if its any different then the BF2 account name),
3. Click on the tab, (if not already selected), that reads "Downloads Info"
4. It should read "Edit Battlefield 2 GameSpy Account Name"
5. In those two bars, enter your BF2 game name, you dont add your clan tags or other abriviations you may have with your name, just your BF2 account name.
6. Then click ok, this should fix your problems of not being able to play it after you've purchased it and installed it.
