Some of you had less than ideal experiences with this Euro Force launch. Mostly due to the wording for the field to enter your BF2 User Name. I just posted here that we are opening up those locked out accounts for a while. So I hope those of you locked out can get your BF2 name in there and get back to shooting each other. We're getting a change up for that wording soon.

Thank you to everyone here who has helped someone else out. I've seen several of you answering questions and offering advice to those having issues. I appreciate that, thank you!

Thank you to those of you who have had some issue or another with this release, but that stuck with it. I don't know if we'll ever see the day where a PC release of anything is 100% issue free, just so many variables. Regardless, thank you for your patience. I really do hope you enjoy Euro Force!

Thank you also to everyone who is in-game playing those new maps. The vast majority of users had an issue free purchase, download and install, and they overall seem to like it. Obviously opinions vary from map to map and we all like different styles of play, but I think there is something for everyone. Thank you for being the heart and soul of the Battlefield franchise!

The other 94% of people think it sucks.

All the community has demanded is another urban map of quality. This shell of a game needs more. You made everyone migrate to infantry with the shallow vehicles and balance. Now feed the bulk of the players something. Of all the bf42 maps u make wake island. WTF is wrong over there. Couldnt even take the time to map the bf42 favorites. No fire and forget antitank weapons no hand held anti air. What a joke this game is. Make the modders do all the work and stifle them by holding back the tools to make it happen.

I've got news for you: the BF42 maps were vehicle-centric and most of them were absolutely massive in size compared to BF2 maps (ie you required a vehicle for transit).

No fire and forget AT weapons? You can fire the Eryx/SRAW then switch guns and FORGET; or you could use the RPG (SF).
Maybe they didn't put handheld AA back in after BFV because it was f***ing terrible? Stingers and AA Vehicles are plenty.

People like you make me sick; did you ever even play BF42? or BFV?

I love EF, thanks for making a better expansion to the game than SF (which I didn't care for).

no problems however first time ordering online so i bought a prepaid CC and well the expiry date on the card is 2 digits and year 2 digits didnt realize you wanted 2006 hahah then it went through i chose my nick but the problem came after i clicked perchase i didnt get a confirm i got address intrievable or something like that....but it went through got the game.....and i bought my friend a copy as well and same thing but it worked and we both have the game so.....

now just make view distance further for leet snipers and jet pilots

I only like operation smoke screen, all the other maps are just random land with recycled buildings over and over and expand for miles.

I am also pretty annoyed that some of the decent guns dont even have semi auto and may even be worse than the rest of the defaults.

And as said, no city maps, it just seems there is hardly any thought into most of the maps in EF and SF.

I had no problems with the download or install. I did have an issue with the player naming process which 'Shawn' fixed through the stciky in the EF forum. So overall it has been enjoyable. I believe the EF booster will be good. I just wish that the SF expansion pack was integrated in the same way, so servers could run a mixture of maps and all weapons and vehicles could be shared...

Which leads me to my 1 major complaint. I was hoping to be able to unlock the EF weapons to use in the BF2 vanilla game, but i am under the impression that this isn't possible? :cry:
