How should i re-install BF2 properly ?

Ok well i was making a mod for BF2, havin fun and all. Now it decided to launch the mod only if i wanted to play vanilla. Since i had SF it didnt relly matter at all. Now my feind just vanilla so i decided to re-install the whole thing like this

1- Removed SF
2- Removes Vanilla
3- Install Vanilla
4- Reboot Comp
5- SF
6- 1.12 Full patch

Now it starts up with the splash screen, then goes to the back one (full screen). Right after it decides to skip back to windows with no error, or anything relly. Same goes for SF. So im guessing a 2nd fresh install should work ?

Do a manual uninstall for both vanilla and SF.

Make sure ALL traces of mod and settings are gone.

do you have an ati card? they fixed this behaviour in latest catalyst 6.3

ya it worked before, i do have the latest drivers. I just saw this was a sticky, but should i also take out any remaining registery entries

Yes, those links to manual uninstalls will show you what reg entries to remove as well as hard drive file deletion (very important).
