Ea Downloader

My EA downloader is intalled and when I go to log in it says :



COULD NOT CONNECT TO A SERVER TRY AGAIN IN A FEW MINUTES .





WTF

Nope15 min straight and not working .



Typical ..... you give them money and they have a downloader that dosent fing work !

Just tried mine and logged in no problem.

My EA downloader crashes when i try to run it. Have any of you heard of anyone else having that problem?

Backup your cache ie C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache
Uninstall the downloader, reboot , Download and run Regcleaner http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-download/archives/reg-cleaner4.3.htm

Start it goto Tools/Registry clean up/Do them all Select all and hit Remove selected.
Reinstall the downloader
Replace your cache folder
Try again.

Wont magically fix everyones problems, but worked for me when I had problems with it.
Also check the other threads, ie the username issue and IE7 isuue.

It worked great for me but download speeds are god awful right now. The Booster is only 327MB, and it's going to take me like 35 mins to get.
