I am trying to get to the bottom of this lag crapol that some of us are suffering. I personaly think it is an issue witht he patch and certain graphics cards.

If you are having troubles with lag please leave your graphics card name.

If we can pull enough info together without yelling "go and buy more ram" at each other, we may have something to take to the people who can sort it out.

Connect 3D X850 PRO VIVO 256mb AGP, overclocked from standard 500/500 to 520/530 with standard cooler.


i know mine is soundcard and ram related, i only either a) get lag with textures on high which then makes the game spill more into the pagefile and b) when excessive audio gets played and i have it set to hardware in options.

From 55+ FPS at all times to as low as 15 FPS since the patch.
Unplayable sometimes....

the only problem i have is weird flickering things, like roads, or server names.

Radeon x700 512mb PCIe \o/ i get lag a few times but nothing that wont stop me from playing as its tollerable

I got a 9800 Pro (flashed to XT) of 128MB and I got no real lag issues. Though obviously I can't play on High settings. I play Low-Medium and it's fine.

I have had problems since 1.12 patch.

Ran fine before, no i get stuttering and connection problem msg, especially when flying.

I have a 6800 ULTRA, never had a problem until patch 1.21!

the game ran perfectly fine until the 1.2 patch...as for aptch 1.21..no idea. my gaming comp is gone for awhile so i cant try it out.

Connect 3d x800 GTO, 256 mb, has always run great on high settings at 1024x768, but have gotten pings from 400-1500 since 1.21

this whole fiasco just increased my hatred for EA that came around when they started putting out terrible Madden's just cause they have no competition.

and now i really don't like DICE either

Do you get these ping spikes from 400-1500? Like you will have a normal ping lets say, 50 or so on a server. Then get these spikes in game?

Thats what i have happened to me ever since 1.12 patch and it hasnt gotten any better.

I have tried everything from calling my isp day after day, uninstalling and reinstalling everything, reformatting the hole nine yards. I give up.

no, i mean servers ping anywhere from 400-1500. like the best pinging server i can get is 400 then the worst server is around 1500. I never get any pings under 200.
