Cant Use Unlocked Medic Rifle

Hi. In battlefield, I am Lance Corporal anubis26, with 599 points.
When I reached 500 points, I was promoted to PFC, and a few seconds later got promoted to Lance Corporal, without doing anything. After restarting BF2, I got a message that I can unlock a weapon, and I chose the medic rifle. When I play, I do not get the option to select the new gun [no arrow icon on spawn screen]. BFHQ (in game) and stat-tracking sites have shown that I have it unlocked, and I do have the rank, even though things I have read say that you need 1000 points for Lance Corp. Please help me!

Try again, it's an issue with servers thinking you are a private with no unlocks.

I have tried many servers, and even starting a local server, but the gun is still unavailable.

Lance Corporal does require 1000 points (just so you know)

You can only use your unlocked rifle on a RANKED server

The unlocks are not available for use on non-ranked servers.

Ranked servers are identifible by the yellow Chevron in the servers list

Also:

Ranks requirements were changed in previous patches.
The requirement for Lance Corporal is now only 500 points.

As I played today, I was able to use the rifle, and its damn awesome!
Anyways, what are the reqs for the next rank?

Corporal should be 1000, then Sgt. should be 2500.

Actually, it's 800 for Corporal.
