New problem with EF; anyone had this bevore?

Finally i was able to donwload EF...great!
Installed it...works great!
startet with single player...works great!
started a LAN-Server...works great!

Then...i wanted to join a MP-Server...crash to desktop with no error-msg?
ok tryed again with a different EF map...crash to destop???

Since then..i cant play...even the old maps r f*****up

did anybody encountered this problem?

I just got my replacment 7800GS Super OC n508 card from eVGA and I went from the black screen and sound loop lock up to just crashing to the desktop with no error. I was playing for sometime then all of the sudden the game started lagging or chunking and then crashed. I quickly checked the temp of the GPU and it showed 67. I am not sure if its my new card or the new booster pack since I got the replacement card same day I got the booster pack. Another odd thing im worried about- when i put this card in the clock setting registered as 410 and not 460 .. so I had to manually set it to 460(where it should be). So tonight I will test it at 410 and see what happens.
