I have also found the slightest touch whilst on the ground results in the chopper flipping. There is something wrong, the EURO fighter is pretty sketchy with a joystick, there is no smoothness in movements like the other planes.

theres nothing really wrong with this chopper, its just very sensitive. i have to say i have flipped it a couple of times but u get used to it after a while... but personally i find the best thing with it is never land it, if u need repair just hover over landing pad and if u want out bail out far up and use parachute... its more fun that way :p but they could still do with patching it for the more noobish players:laugh::laugh:

I think the Eurocopter sucks hard. As soon as you take off you cannot turn in either direction or it tips over like a Suzuki Samurai.
There is a sound bug, when you are looking in 1st person view, you can hear the choppy sounds as if you were in 3rd person view.
Difficult to hover and starts to fall from the sky like a rock at any given hint of directional movement.
It looks cool, but it flies like a mis-shapen turd...FIX IT PLEASE

Just my 2 cents...

I've just done a bit of testing with the Eurocopter, I find it to be just fine in the air, I can throw it around just like the others. It seems very maneuverable too.

The only problem is landing. It's okish if you bring it in extremely slowly (0 - 20kph, only getting about a 1/4 of 1 block worth of damage, but this is no good if you are in battle since you're not going to get the time to bring it in slowly.

Also if it does start to tilt, just whacking the throttle full up and rolling out of it seems to fix that, unless there's a wal next to you!!

I suppose there isn't much need for landing anyway, since re-loading can be done by hovering, the same goes for picking people up.

All that being said I still think it's definitely gotta be bugged and needs fixing .

Well I think I found the problem. This is EA's testing staff.

Down syndrome is caused by an extra copy of all or part of chromosome 21. I The only true "tard" in here is you.

FYI it's Down's Syndrome, not 'Down syndrome'. It was named after the acclaimed physician John Langdon Down who made the distinction in 1866. At the time he referred to those afflicted as 'mongoloids', a reference to Asiatic people who shared some of the characteristic facial traits. Also, the defect is a result of 'trisomy', where the female egg ends up with three copies of chromosome 21, not 'an extra copy of all or part...'. Only 5% of those with Down's Syndrome deviate from this recipe.

I take it from your defensive reply to my joking post that you or someone you know is afflicted. Don't take things so personally on teh intarweb.

I notice one time while trying to take off, i flip it. But i never land to refill and stuff, i just hover over the helo pad. I notice that it is a really fast helo compare to the other attack helos, i believe that is faster than the Cobra.

getting used to the Eurotiger, is extremly sensitive, i find that the maps it is located on are too small for it, the chopper is too fast.

as for tipping it over, ive done that more times than i would like to mention, i have come accross a few people who use the tiger, like it was just another chopper on bf2, i hate people with skills. lol

I thought 1.22 patch fixed this problem. I have had no problems with it since the patch. It is a very fast chopper and is unlike any other in the game.

I've met people afflicted, as I work in a hospital. I've seen what the families have to go through with various health complications, including but not limited to sleep apnea, dermatologic disorders, blindness, diabetes, etc.
It's not that I take offense, I just do not find it funny. By the way, the name is "Down", not "Down's", the plural is still used when describing the disorder in European countries. The name was changed in the 1970's thanks to a scientific revision of that particular disorder. On a side note, I know what I am talking about, don't correct someone with a copy+paste from Google.

PS: The chopper still sucks if it was inteneded to be that way, then I am worried about whoever coded it to perform like a ship in high tide.

This chopper is awesome... Flies like an agile bee on steroids...
The trick to landing, is to tilt the chopper at an angle, opposite to your flying speed and decent, so that on touchdown, the rear of the landingbars touch the ground first, while pulling back at stick/mouse to counter forward tilt. You can do this sideways and backwards too. Of course it needs some practice to master, but I've been flying around from CP to CP as fast as possible, just landing and taking of again for practice...
This chopper is VERY effective to do fast drop-offs, and skip out again... I think your could move a lot of personel very fast in this way...

So chill out, enjoy and most important of all, LEARN TO FLY IT FIRST, it's not a buggy...
