Error in EAD when trying to install

I downloaded EF and clicked the "Install" button once the download was complete and I get the following error:

    "Error: 32791:6
    Unable to authorize decryption
Please ensure that the clock is set correctly on your computer, and try again. If the problem persists, wait, then try again later. The download service maybe unavailable".

I tried again minutes then hours later. Same problem. I removed the EF files from the EAD cache folder so that I can download it again. Same error in the end when I try to install it.

It's the third time I download again the whole thing. Even tried removing EAD and installing it again to download EF but still to no avail.

Anybody out there with the same problem?

Re: Error in EAD when trying to install

Dude I have had nothing but trouble trying to download this stupid $10 booster. Why is EA making it so difficult for three freakin' maps and more weapons. They have been talking this expansion up for a month or more and I finally get to download it, but do you think I could install the damn thing? No way. I have uninstalled everything about 4 times (including BF2). I'm getting the Error 32791:6 thing too. I've even changed my GameSpy Nickname/BF2 Nickname or whatever it is. I have left three messages on their lame support page on the EA site. This is so rediculous. I paid $50 for the main game and didn't have any major problems installing and running it. I download the updates regularly without a hitch. But try to download a measley $10 booster and its like trying to breach Fort Knox. Hope you get it working. I'll keep you updated (Sorry for the rant!)

Their website says that the 32491:6 error means you've tried to install it too many times recently. **** em all I say, I finally get an error that ea can provide some help with, and ooh please wait at least 48hours. **** YOU EA, just a bunch of useless chunts

Probably won't help but what happens if you shut down the EAD and install EF from the setup files (I think they're in /program files/ea arts/ea downloader/*bf2 login*/cache/

              Aradiel,

I have gone through equally painful experience. However, installation here is rather straight forward and problems free. Most of the time were wasted in the GameSpy / EA Account Name exchange.

Let me see if I can help. Use EAD (EA Downloader) to download the files again. After that, do not click the Install button yet, quit the EAD. Reboot your computer and start EAD again. This time, the Install button should be there because EAD automatically checks files in the corresponding folder. Click Install and it should be oaky this time.

Revert if you have problems again. Also make sure "DCOM" services is up and running.
