Balaning Rank.

I played on a server last week one team was made up of really high ranking( and therefore experienced) players.

Whilst the other team (which i was on) was made up of low level rankers.

Now i'm not saying that low ranking players are bad.. but on the three rounds we played we got wiped. I fund myself running around like a loon attempting to save the game as i watched my team mates bopping around on fools errands.

I repeatedly tried to gather a squad inviting people in. No one wanted to squad up clearly showing there noobness.

I havnt a clue how it would be possible to re-jig teams at the begining of a new round by rank or even if it seems fair to tohers.

I really didnt enjoy my three rounds they over really quickly, without any perticular excitment.

Welcome to the world of public servers... Seems like I always end up on the ****e team. I feel your pain.

Yeah sometimes it can determine the outcome since higher ranks have usually more play time and know the stratedies and best ways to attack an area..

My only rebalancing gripe..

For the love of god, if you are on a server with 5 of your clan mates running team speak and you think that crushing a team full of "pick up guys" shows some skill..be for real.
Usually the team that is loaded up with memebers from the same clan destroy a team made up of pick up guys.
yeah its understandable but really unfun since you have the upper hand in communication and such.

When I run with friends we go try to be on seperate teams since 4-5 guys workign together on TS can destroy a bunch of random players...and its not alll that fun.

sheite happens. but i think it should be possible to make an autoballance system that ballances by rank, thought about it before, and wondered why ea didnt include it.

At Peoplekillingmachine: I completely disagree, having too many people from one clan on the same team, all talking on TS can unabalance the game, but sometimes its necessary. It encourages teamwork. Me and two other clanmates joined a game and littereally, we were our entire team. When we first joined we were down 30 points and we won it for us. The scores for our team went 81, 78, 66, 21... 21 being the next person in our team.

We invited people into our squads trying to bring in teamwork and it works. People can use VoiP and win anygame, teamwork is the key.

Personally, usually higher ranked teams win, but it has happened a couple times that my team was mostly first segeants and above...and we lost. Rank isn't everything. I've personally knifed a few colonels already and they oughta know how to avoid that, plus whenever an officer is on a server they seem to end up middle of the pack.

I do not equate rank with skill in any way other than generally.

Again .... people are overly concerned with rank. I could be playing on a team with 6-10 "highly ranked" players and we would still get our butts handed to us because those guys are busy padding their stats or are just horrible team players. Just because someone has a high rank doesn't mean that they do squat to help a team.

Autobalance is bad enough. Getting balanced by rank would be an utter disaster.

THis was included in 1.0, but it would switch players that were squad leaders and commanders. It was uber lame and geigh so they fixed it. If you happen to land ina server like that, I would recommend you just hit escape, click disconnect and find another server. That fix is a hell of a lot easier than altering the code and risking, dare I say, even more bugs!
