if someone pulls a pin from a grenade in a real life battle, the fact that they died does not stop the fuse from burning.... grenades should blow up if the pin is pulled, no excuses, end of story.
don't know yet, I think it will create more TK's then K's , mostly you pull pin at your side to trow it to the enemy, when some enemy kills you, you drop dead, nade falls on floor, around it some teammates, well, good luck, you get kicked for TK'ing 2-5 teammates/squadmembers . in one time .
also, nades are already lame, so running around with "pin out" is just for nade whoring in some kind, so when a normal player comes along kills you, runs by, he gets killed by your lame tactic .
And, CS is indeed like this, and I would agree, if the nades where like in CS, but in BF2 the nades are way to strong, power and splash damage are just way to big .
final, I would agree if nades get less powerfull and splash damage is decreased , at this moment, I actualy disagree

Damn straight!! I dropped a grenade short on a live field firing exercise and I was the rabbit in the headlights for what seemed like years before I realised what had happend and half crawled half dragged by DS into cover! **** me those things go with a bang when your only 3 ft away!!!!!!
you guys do realize that it would very often lead to something like triple-tk (complete with punishes) ?
They'd just have to code it so the person who shot the grenade-thrower got credit for any additional kills (instead of recording them as TKs).
Similar to how a sniper gets credited for kills caused by a crashing Blackhawk when said sniper shoots the pilot out.

I thought the pin was just a safety measure. In order to effectivly arm the gernade you much push in the lever/trigger, probably just as you throw it.
With the current HE grenade in service with the Brits, think its the same as the US (Belgium made stuff) it has a saftey clip and a pin. As long as the pin is in then it is safe, once the pin has been released and the fly leaver is release it dets the primer which burns for between 3-5 secs depending on the temperature.
The saftey clip is just there as an added precaution in case the pin somehow comes out on its own.
Basically unless you let go off the grenade once the pin is pulled it will not go off and you can put it back in, tho personally I wouldnt want to risk it!!

Mmhmm. We're assuming that when you die you drop the pinless grenade, the lever pops, and the timer starts.
O yes, this has annoyed me for a long time, il run into a group of enemies, pull the pin on a nade, I die....they are all grouped around my body and nothing happens...

pretty much yea, unless by some slim chance your hand seizes up and keeps grip of the fly leaver, im no medical expert but Id say the odds of that happening and the body coincidently landing in such a position that it stays down are a tad low!!
Of course we also need to take into account that if the body lands on the gren then it could absorb most of the explosion
You have a grenade with a lever and a pin. In order to pull the pin you must squeeze the lever. So you squeeze the lever and pull the pin. Now your holding a grenade that won't do anything until you release the lever, then it starts a countdown which is usually 3 to 5 seconds long.
Chances are it will only ever kill the friendly medic running around trying to get revive points.
Comedy genius in the making.
"MEDIC.... Booom HAHa Tricked Ya".
Well alot of points have come up... i didnt even consider the TK aspect.
Although i still believe that the nade should go off. I can see that it's imposible to implement. I think hte TK issue would force trouble. Dropping a nade at the feet of your squad in your death throw isnt gonna go down well.
