    Euro Force - Worth it

Finally got my hands on it yesterday (I don't understand why everyone had so much trouble installing, it was pretty easy) and I was pretty impressed. My highlights of the night were a pretty intense firefight on top of the great wall, a 4 on 4 tank battle on smoke screen, and a standoff at taraba's bridge. For 10 bucks you can't beat it. Just wanted to say kudos DICE, nice job.

other people dont really feel the same way. its li eall the patches that come out. it seems like everything booster, expansion and patch that comes out, people have more bad things to say than good things

Yeah, I must be one of the lucky ones, never had too many serious problems with the game or the patches, or they just dont't p1ss me off as they do other people.

For me it is worth the 10 bucks. There are things I like about it and things I don't, but that is based off of one night of play. Give me a couple of weeks and I'll have a better formed opinion, but either way won't regret spending 10 bucks.

Reminds me of that atari game "COMBAT". Who wants to stand there shooting one cannon every few seconds against another tank shooting a cannon?

Sounds slow and boring to me. I prefer high adrenaline, fast paced, lots of action games.

I find most armor conflicts are one-person. Meaning your attacking 1 target and they are attacking you. After all you only have one cannon and it takes more than one hit to kill a tank so your going to go for one target at a time.

With infantry you can engage multiple targets. plus your running, diving, jumping, reloading, looking around, etc.

This is why nooobs prefer armor (takes less skills and easier to master) then infantry.

              I am disappointed with Euroforce.

If this was armor fury then i would say 'Great job'. But, its not, so i am disappointed.

              I want my $2

              LOL

lol, tanks shooting every few seconds at each other, not much of a tanker are ya? Less skill to master than infantry, oh you are a hoot. A tank has to engage all targets at once, every infantry C4, landmines, eryx and TOW missile, is trained on you, you have to constantly watch all around you, yes while trying to put your main gun on the enemy tank and try and avoid being hit.

Try not to insult what you don't understand. A lack of knowledge doesn't mean you need to bash it.

I heard that the 16 player map of Great Wall is a lot of fun. I have not had much time to play EF yet, but so far I think that it is pretty dang good for $10. I will hold off writing some scathing review until I have had a proper amount of time to play it and learn all the maps properly. Right now it is just trial and error as to what will work... kind of chaotic, everyone is a newb to EF.

Seeing as how Atari "Combat" - Tanks and the biplanes were my first ever game and I loved it......Then I guess I do!

You guys go on and on about this infantry crap, this is Battlefield and if I wanted anything different then I would have played something different....BF is a mix of everything, which is what most of the fans love....and the fans are going to be the ones who have been and will be here when the next "Quakewars".."CS" or other boring infantry only FPS,wannabe battlefield etc.. games comes out.

Indeed. Worth £5.99. If a large proportion of the player base takes it up, that would increase the likelihood of vanilla BF servers including EF maps in their server rotation. This is a good thing, more variety will keep people playing for longer.

I'm very interested to see what % of the playerbase picks up EF given the (lack of) popularity of SF. Are we only ever going to see the booster/addon content on a very small % of servers or will they finally gain some traction?

Flame bait! Want to test your reactions and so called super duper skills against some proper players, try Quake.

Seems to be a lot of infantry players that can't cut it in a proper FPS like CS or Quake but at least they can play BF2 and whine about how this weapon needs fixing or they can't cope with planes or tanks are too strong or my weapon is too weak and on and on and on.

The difference between SF and EF is the ability to add EF maps into a vanilla BF server rotation. I think if people realise this, the booster will sell better and stay popular for longer.
SF was a stand alone game which only appeals to a minority of players, so naturally there will be less servers.
