More Official maps for BF2

The only thing that really impresses me about EF is the maps. And quite frankly the ability to have the weapons in BF2 is impossible thus making it a worthless addon to me.

I think instead of EA releasing more and more and more expansions and raping us of our hard earned cash they should release new official maps for BF2 instead. Any one with me on this one?

Yeah, I too miss the days of 'free maps with patch'...but those days are gone

I honestly wouldn't mind paying so much if we hadn't endured nearly a year of bugs thus far.

But...they need (i.e. want) cash, and patches don't generate revenue...new content does.

I'd hardly call £6 'raping us of all our hard earned cash'!!

Although more free maps like you get with Counter Strike Source would be welcome. Even if it's only the fan made ones being made more 'mainstream.'
