EuroForce burn

Just downloaded and installed the boosterpack and it works fine. Though I was wondering, since I verified the thing with my GameSpy Account halfway the process anyway...would it be possible to burn the download to a disk.

I had a look and the "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache\***EA-Account-Name***\eagamesbf2-2006online_map_contentbf2euro" contents a lot of files including a proper setup as on the BF2 and BF2:SF disk.

Would it be possible to just burn that on disk and install that way in the future? EA Downloader feels like Steam and I rather get that trashed soon, and since I was verified with my GameSpy Account and it works, I don't see why it wouldn't work that way in the future.

In the FAQ at the top of the page it explains how to burn the folder onto a cd/dvd.

You may have to reinstall a fresh EA Downloader over the folder once it's copied across though.

Oh ok thanks, just wondering if it will work without the EA Download tool installed. I am still not sure about that, but since it's verified I suppose it should work.

I downloaded on my laptop and installed it. Then I burned it onto DVD and copied it over my EAD install on another PC and it works fine.
