Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Anyone commanding except me is fine by me as long as they're doing something and listening to my requests. I'll command when no one else will or if our last commander was horrible.
i hate commander spammers.
enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted - enemy infantry spotted
they just never stfu. i must press the mute button to give my ears a rest.
I'd rather know where the enemy is than not... not all enemy will be in the range of UAV so very useful to know what's going on where...

Theres a map i play on most & theres a colonel who commands 24/7 while hes in there, i also like being commander & so do others & so it's very annoying. Plus he spends most of the day in that server so no one gets to command but him. This is what i call a whore, it's the same as whoring a tank or heli.
Every time i look in the server no matter what time, he will be in there commanding.
I think they should make a commander rule that you can only command a certain amount of times every few rounds as mutiny obviously doesn't work.
I couldn't imagine what would happen if he where out ranked, god forbid!
So no i don't like em.:)
But is he doing a good job of it? if thats the case, whats the problem? i'd rather have someone doing a good job of command than not, doesn't bother me how long they command for. It suprises me the amount of servers i've been on and there is no commander.
For what it's worth, I think commanders do have the opportunity to perform minor active roles on the battlefield in addition to commanding and using their assets effectively. For instance, as commander I'll often take a defensive stance at the same time as commanding and by that I mean I'll actively defend my assets from spec ops, jump into an Essex turret or even defend a relatively secure flag.
In answer to the bizarre poll, it's simple - if the commander is fullfilling his role properly, then I've no problem with them being commander round after round. If they're not, then I definitely have a problem with that.
On the other hand, there are the psychic commanders...
I had one the other day on Dragon Valley. I was doing my usual trick of manning the AA vehicle or driving APCs. Just as I started to run out of ammo in the AA vehicle an ammo crate dropped down next to me. He went on to do this 2 or three times. He never dropped a crate _unless_ I needed it. Every time a fire fight started to get intense, a UAV would appear over head.
Brilliant.
cheers,
Archie
If the commander is playing as support he can see when your ammo goes below 50%

Yes he is doing the job, but hes not the only one that enjoys the role of commanding a game. It probably doesn't effect you as you might not enjoy it as much as me but for those who do like commanding it's very annoying.
no such thing as a "commander whore"next thing ppl will be complaining about assault whores, or MEC whores
You may call it what ever you want but to me it's commander whore.
Not really.... Because everyone can be assualt or Mec. Only 1 person can be commander.
Like i said, most people probably hate being commander & some people like it, for the people who like it & never ever get to command on there fav server it's a bit annoying to have a colonel always command. Hes not the only one that likes commanding! I'm sure those commander will agree.
It would be like having 1 tank in the game, & that tank goes to the highest rank. Imagine if he always used the tank for himself, did quite a good job but you could never ever get a go, this is how i feel about it.
Ranks should apply to vehicles aswell so nooblets like bizzare.inc cant waste the time of 31 other people on the team by taking a valuble asset like Commander, Jet or Helicopter and fly around all game and get 1 - 2 kills when a good pilot would have had at least 50 killz.
In short the highest rank chopper or jet player should be able to hold a certian key say F1 or F2 and it would eject the noob from the vehicle and the greater experienced player would take over

Why would you need to eject a noob when you're way is so much more effective, if you haven't played against this guy he will tk you for getting in a heli.
Before calling me a nooblet you might wanna stop prancing (Hopping) around like a fairy everytime someones shooting at you.
As for ranked veichles, nahh wouldn't work mate.
Cmon loki surly you can do a better comaback then this..
