I haven’t a problem with someone who only wants to command as long as he’s going the job properly and isn’t running round on the front line. Get hidden and get commanding I say. The same goes for the squad leaders. Lead your squads!

I'm glad there are people who like to play commander..power to 'em. Sure, I don't mind playing commander...but I'd rather be in the 'action'.

I HATE it when there is no commander on my team.

What I DO hate...is when a commander whores a vehicle and does NOT perform commander duties...he's in it solely for the 2X points.

On the other hand, there are the psychic commanders...

I had one the other day on Dragon Valley. I was doing my usual trick of manning the AA vehicle or driving APCs. Just as I started to run out of ammo in the AA vehicle an ammo crate dropped down next to me. He went on to do this 2 or three times. He never dropped a crate _unless_ I needed it. Every time a fire fight started to get intense, a UAV would appear over head.

Brilliant.

I find that happens sometimes...the commander will watch a particular player or squad. Especially if that squad/player is following his orders and/or getting s*** done.

It doesn't happen often..but it's cool when it does.

only if they do it non stop. I usually command 1 map, then let another command another map. This way I can tell if it's me that's getting us to a win or if its just the guys doing well. Sometimes the commander makes all the difference in the world.

I just don't see any way you could actually do something called "commander whoring". I don't care, if commander is trying to make some points and helping out his team by spotting enemies as long as he does everything else required by his force. If you have spotted all the flanking enemies, used UAV and dropped all required supplies and artillery, feel free to spot as much as you want.

It seems that whatever you do, you can be blaimed by someone. From now on, I don't care anymore. I'll whore whatever class or vehicle as much as I please. Well, I don't but I'd like to just to show to these whiners.

I need my 100 hours and 10,000 in commander so I am whoring it at the mo.

Will never touch it again after that as I am sick of it:)

Like wise, only 7 more hours to go then i'm done with playing commander, that's if the spot is vacant and people need some supply drops and stuff.

what i mean is when a person who has a high rank always gets to be commander and is always flying the jet or heli. =)

I'm 55 comand hours away from my Distinguished Service Medal and 4636 command point away from expert command.

I've already warned my mates that I'll be command whoring for the next while.


Edit: For the record, I'm a hider. No "take command just for the points/time" for me thanks.

I do that alot....if after a while, it seems to me, that ONE squad is in... "I WANT TO WIN" mode...they get uav, they get the drops, and they get the arty support up front, or to cover their flanks. Everyone else can have fun with their score statting.

geee .. next time define your vote better. Imho a commander whore is someone whos commander only to support himself with ammo and uav. (eg sitting in your tank and piling supply crates at ur back)

Theres a map i play on most & theres a colonel who commands 24/7 while hes in there, i also like being commander & so do others & so it's very annoying. Plus he spends most of the day in that server so no one gets to command but him. This is what i call a whore, it's the same as whoring a tank or heli.

Every time i look in the server no matter what time, he will be in there commanding.

I think they should make a commander rule that you can only command a certain amount of times every few rounds as mutiny obviously doesn't work.

I couldn't imagine what would happen if he where out ranked, god forbid!

So no i don't like em.:)
