Jihad Jeeping is the best way to take out a tank; AT is useful, but you need more than one person shooting AT rockets to have any sort of an effect.

For maximum style use a Jihad tank. Plaster your tank in C4 and make a bee line for the enemy tank. :~)

The first time you try it, they try to kill you with the main gun. This doesn't work.

The second time you try it, they try backing away. This doesn't work.

The third time you try it, they bail out and run like hell. This doesn't work.

The fourth time you try it, they just shoot the C4 pack with the main. This works.

Of course, it's horribly cheap and really irritating. I've only done it while waiting for players to join a server. It _is_ funny though. People just can't believe what they're seeing.

I think sticking C4 to things is incredibly fun.

You'll often see me driving around the beaches of Oman with a FAV packed full of explosives trying to run people over and laughing like a madman.

It might be a good tactic if you can get passengers who know when to get out. You drive in at full speed and passengers jump out while go on and blow the car to take out any enemies up front.

Too bad you can't stick C4 to people.

To me its a legit tactic, especially under circumstances where your team has allowed the other team to run off with all your armor...its a very effective way to stop an armoured convoy (of engineers) or armour sitting on crates (whereas an AT person could do it, albeit it would be much more difficult to take out multiple armour with 5 rockets)...

I do agree that the negative points from the suicide do hurt...got my veteran explosives/spec ops doing that on Warlord...hurt to see the -30 or so but it kept the other team out of the armour, still netted me alot of points, and we actually won our first round of the night (was at least 0-10 at that point)...all b/c it finally put an end to armoured convoys of engineers (didn't help most of my team was spawning as supply/assault but then again, obviously not a good team to be doing that bad in W-L).

If you jihad jeep, no problem. If you jihad jeep suicide, problem.

If you can use the jeep to blow a tank, etc., no problem at all with that. It's when people do this and are so unskilled they blow themselves up as well that I dislike.

Really simple, have detonator in hand, jump out, when jeep rolls into tank blow it, then run away. Rinse repeat. Don't drive the jeep into the tank then blow yourself up with it.

It's lame! I hate all the things you can do in this game. So many are cheap. I wish it was like pong. Each guy would get a paddle and duke it out like men! Ricocheting bullets back and forth. Ya!

The only good tactics were the ones you would use in games frome the early 80's before they gave you all this choice and freedom.

Using that tactics to blow away some rodeblock tanks and APCs is the final solution using this tactics to destroy enemy assets is wise, but to suicide all the time well thats not very fair...

Yea, if you suicide while using a car bomb then you need more practice.

On the topic, I guess its a valid technique, however its just weird when u see US forces doing it. Just seems wrong. agree on the suicidal comment earlier too, lack of skill.

Its fun to do sometimes, but what i hate is when there are 3 people running towards a buggy and one of them decides to C4 it, its very selfish and risky, even worse is when someone loads C4 onto a jeep YOUR driving.

If you all alone with a jeep (and havent just driven off first to stop teammates getting in) then its ok in my book, but your still using a valuable vehicles (the fast way to get a flag) for selfish means so its up to you :)

i could care less. it doesn't really bother me, except when one of your gay teammates loads his jeep up, speed off, tries to cut in front of your tank, causes collision with your tanks, blows you both up, you get a tk, and he punishs even though he ran into you. i can't tell you how many times this has happened on karkand to me, and they ALWAYS punish even though it's their fault. that is the only complaint i have with it.

Fun and lame, it's lame because it takes away a jeep for others to use. It's fun because you can help you teammates by blowing up a tank in a funny way.

I rather not use it myself, but it's legit and it works.

Usually if im spec ops ill toss 2 packs of C4 on a vehicle im using to get to an area.
That way if things get tricky on my drive to were Im headed I can use my vehicle as a weapon.

Like on Shaqi..If Im US I try to ruch the MEC heli base..
I will usually ram the UAV near the pad if no ones around..just pull up get out and blow for the assests point, then lay C4 down on the pad incase a guy jumps in a vodnik to come up to the pad and stop me.

If Im MEC Ill pop 2 on the vodnik at the north base and make a bee line for the TV tower..on the way if I encounter the tank..then I jihad it to help my team way behind me.. If I make it to tower I park in front of UAV and blow it, then head to flag.

I never do jishads mostly because the suicides cancel out the two points you get for killing the guy in the tank

the amount of times a APC is going round killing people and they come back as a sniper! or a medic or something! i end up having to line a fast vehicel with c4's and ram the bloomin thing
