Cannot use EF weapons with reg?

I'm really suprised you can't use EF weapons with regular BF2.... I mean I bought EF so I could use the Famas on Karkand.

I mean not only that, but I wanted the EU to speak French!!! French sounds more unique for the EU on BF2. Although the EU's official languages are English and French.

people that play REGULAR BF2 aint gonna like getting owned by the HK21 (the EU support weapon) and they are gonna COMPLAIN just like they did with SF UNLOCK . get it now??????? jesus

If EA was using their noodles they would allow EF weapons in Regular BF2. The people getting owned by the sweetness would get the game just to have the weapons to fight back. That being said, i wish i would have known sooner that they were going to prohibit EF weapons in Vanilla. It very well could have swayed my decision against buying the booster.

Well, I'm disappointed. I wanted to buy it exactly to play on karkand. If they had allowed the EF weapons on normal BF2, you could have choose from 26 weapons!!! That would be awesome!!!!!!!! It's more weapon than what you have in Counter-Strike.
Now I'm determined. I won't buy.

The fact that there would be no EF unlocks and that you couldn't use EF weapons in BF2 was plastered all over this and other forums since last January.

What you mean actually look up details before hand, are you crazy man how could they whine like little babies if they spent 3 minutes reading first!!

EA/Dice said it was due to memory requirements that would be needed to have all weapons loaded on one map.

Could not see a few weapons making much difference but there you go.

DIdnt look on other forums, this seems to have just about everything i need.

And i suppose it was my fault for assuming, with the talk of this game being a booster pack and how it was going to be intigrated into the the base BF2 and all. you know to BOOST Vanilla. well it didnt bOOst vanilla, it is its own seperat entity. Just like Special Forces. The ONLY differences are you dont have to wait 5 minutes for the game to switch from BF2 to Special forces, nore do you get the cool little gadgets (ie) Zipline and Grappler. It should have been called an expansion pack NOT a booster pack.
