after i have finished downloading EF and i install it i click on the play now button in the ea downloader an when i go to join a EF server is says something like u must install EF b4 u can join this server like i didnt even install EF then when i go to my control panel and then add or remove programs its not even on the list to uninstall it so i have to uninstall BF2 and reinstall BF2 to b able to reinstall EF again ive tired it 3 times and everytime it says the samething am i doing something wrong? i go an check threw the ea games folder and i cant find any EF folder so its like its not even installing but its saying it is anyone know what i can do?

You download is tied into your gamespy account name, which is the SAME name as the one that you play with in BF2. That is, as long as you put you in game name on the form when you bought the booster pack. I had to create a separate login name for just the ea downloader, but as long as you put in your ingame name when it asks for gamespy id, you should be good to go. Also, if you put in the wrong name, you can login to ea downloader and change the gamespy id (ingame name) to the proper account. Good luck!Comment
