BF2: EF Installer : Catastrophic Failure

I just reinstalled XP a few days ago, so BF2 install is fresh. I bought and downloaded euroforces tonight through the ea downloader. Everything is fine until the euroforces installer runs. Then i get this:

im completely stumped and i can't even begin to guess what a CATASTROPHIC FAILURE is, beyond that it must be a really horrible and extreme failure.

reinstalling BF2 will take hours, but perhaps thats where i'll start...

-10 pts for ea/dice, for sure.

*EDIT* actually im going try re-downloading the euro forces installer first..

*STATUS UPDATE* Problem was fixed by re-downloading the EF booster pack. Guess they do CRC checks all over the game but not on the files you download through their client. noob coders.
