Can you mix EF and nomal servers?

Ok so the only thing keeping me from getting EF is 2 things,

A. Do you have to have that gay ass EA spyware downloader running to play EF or only to download it

and

B. Can you play a EF maps and reguler BF2 maps on the same server, i 100% hate and took back SF (ya i raised hell at EBgames, sorry store clerk dude) cuz you have to pick SF or BF2 not both at the same time like every other game out there.

so someene plz let me know. thanks

A - No just to download

B - Yes - I was playing Great Wall and next map was the Gulf of Oman.

A: The downloader sends no info to anyone and does not have to be running. It is a download only app.

B: Booster pack adds to existing vanilla BF2 and is not seperate.

Just like with SF you do not need the downloader to running to play, just for downloading.

Yes, just like SF, EF is run on the same servers as regular BF maps

If you did not like SF you definitely won't like this.

Can I use the EF weapons as unlocks in a normal Bf2 fight for example on strike at karkand?

No. You can't use EF weapons in 'normal' BF2 maps.
