3rd person

hey guys is there a way that you can go into third person view for videos or screenshots? say by messing around with the files in the config?

only when in a vehicle or something like that. Dont know if that works for mounted guns or TOWS. I do know you can go to third person while on ladders though. I dont know of messing with the files if it would do anything but make punkbuster kick you for modified content.

All mobile vehicles can be viewed in 3 or more points of view, including the carrier phalanx.

Mounted LMGs and air/ground missiles (except the phalanx) can't be viewed in any other view than first.

While on a ladder, there are four points of view possible (useful for checking for claymores or enemies at the top).

Punkbuster will kick and ban for anything of that sort to mod the content files.

If you want it to record, figure out battle recorder and demo's and all that, I wish I knew how to use all that stuff.

Doesn't fraps record game play too, and you can watch it after wards????

yes, but using the demo/battle recorder or w/e, I think there is a way to watch other people in 3rd person, so you can record them. sorta like Counter strike HLTV.

I think fraps is only 1st person.
You would need a battlerecorder to be able see you self 3rd person.
3rd person in game at all tiems would give you eyes in back of your head and around stuff, though it be cool to actually see myself.

Did anyone ever figure this out? I'm wanting to play 3rd person on my single player only where I have a second installation for my single player mods...-Mo
