Problem running EADownloader

hey guys,
Im having trouble running the EADownloader...

I've tried reinstalling (numerous times) and rebooting...
here is the error messge:

BTW i use firefox, so it isnt an IE error

Are you running IE7? That might be the reason.

Can you give IE6 a try? Technically that is all that is supported. That said, I saw a thread earlier where a Firefox user posted how to make it emulate IE6 for this purpose. I think it was an add-on. Unfortunately, I did not save the info, sorry.

i have also tried getting the file from a friend, and that was unsuccessful also

if you have the IE7 beta installed, you have to uninstall it for IE6 to work

I've seen this error quite a few times..

He did not use either of those, all this is a matter of is installing the downloader and geting it to run.

I have IE 6.0 but I ALWAYS use Firefox. Why the heck am I getting this error!?
