AA missiles can't hit Heli Sxxt! after 1.21 patch

I started playing jet after 1.20 patch since EA has made AA missile more accurate to lock on. I was enjoying slaughtering heli and they do take about 3 hits to kill but I can do it in a single run. Now after 1.21 patch, the AA missiles seemed to go pass heli even if they don't have flares deployed. I wasn't able to get any hit unless I am facing dead on and in a short distance. So I can only hit heli with one missile every run. I have to do 3 fly by now....

On the other hand, jet shooting jet seems to be more accurate and AA missile locked on and followed the targeted jet much better. Did EA make the change so that it is harder to shoot down a heli than a jet after 1.21 patch?

I've been playing since 1.0 :p and believe me, they go down, those helis, you have to trust on your MG's more.

These are my experiences with mobile AA.

Helicopters seem to have a slight chance to have the AA missles veer off. where as against a plane they tend to follow pretty well. however hitting helicopters with missles isn't the way I've done it most of the time. Especially in mobile AA, you need to hit with the guns first, then fire off the missles when you know they can't drop flares, most of the time, I just bring em down with guns, or soften them up enough for something else to take it out.

I think it's sort of fair, otherwise mobile AA would make helis too vulnerable. It needs a slight miss chance with the missles. Against a plane, you almost never hit it with the guns, maybe to make em sweat a little more, cause they hear beeping alot anyways. However if a plane goes for a bomb run and wastes their flares too eraly, it's a sitting duck for mobile AA with a lock, even a stinger can take down a careless pilot.
