LINES!!!! They are everywhere!

ok this might sound wieird but when i am playing, on any map at any time, lines come out of, well, everything. Its pretty annoying but sometimes it reveals an enemy location But anyway, i wanna know how to stop it. It started ever since i installed the Special Forces Expansion Pack. I will post some pictures so you guys can see what i'm talking about, and see why it can get pretty annoying.

Wild guess...ATI card? I had the same problem with driver versions 5.11 to 6.1. Went away with 6.2 and haven't been back since.

Of course, this is totally irrelevant if you don't have an ATI card.

What driver version are you using? Also, excess heat can cause your gfx card to vomit bytes.

Also, out of curiosity, what card?

What version of the ATI drivers do you have? If you don't have the most current, go to the ATI website (www.ati.com) and download and run:

1) the Catalyst uninstaller utility

restart

2) the most current (version 6.3) of the ATI drivers.

i have a very simmilar problem with cod2, lines every were, but i 7800gtx's but it has stoped but every now and then it shows up and its annoying.

9800Pro should be able to run BF2 just fine. still think you need to clean/reinstall the software drivers from ATI.

I had a similar problem with a Nvidia BFG 6600gt card.
After trying everything, I called the manufacturer (BFG) and they told me to send it in.
I got a new card in a week for free, which is working perfectly.
Note: I had a lifetime warranty
