Well, today I was happy to read that Euro Force was released a day early (Thank you EA
). I downloaded and installed with no problems.
First of all, I play Anti-Tank mostly, so these high vehicle maps are heaven for me and my friends javadog and Tampadep. We get into a great server, nice admins, 24/7 Euro Force maps on Smoke Screen. The first thing I notice is that there are vehicles EVERYWHERE! A couple tanks and buggies at each flag. Smoke Screen is going to be a blast for roadside bombers. There are rocks and debris on every path just waiting for C4 to be hid around it. Two attack helicopters and a plane for each side keep the tankers in check and can give some really great airbattles. The mobile AA guns are plentiful and fun to use against the choppers and planes buzzing over your head.
The smoke in the middle is really great, hard to see outside, easier to see inside. The map is small enough for infantry, and big enough for the ten tanks on each side.
So eventually the map changes and we've already said that Special Forces is a ripoff compared to this. We go to the Quarry map and have a lot of fun at the bridge chokepoint. Keeping the tanks from crossing the bridge is a fun way to spend you time (besides accidentally falling into the water and spending the entire round trying to get you and your squad out
). The AA guns aren't as prominent here as OSS, and it shows. Whoever has the best pilot on this map will do well.
The map switches to Great Wall. I played mostly inside the wall (Or on top of it) and it was pretty intense. Lot's of tanks roaming around inside and outside of the wall. I didn't have enough time to finish this map out, but it seemed to be pretty good.
For $10 this booster pack is amazing. You spend more for a sub at subway.
Value: 10/10
Balance: 8/10
Fun Factor: 9.5/10
Content: 9/10
Overall: 9.5/10
In conclusion, if you have $10 buy this booster. It's great. Unless you a really stingy guy who hates vehicles and things that fly, this pack isn't for you.
