Got A Dell 8600, its a bit outdated, but with upgrades i get medium~high settings
Pentium M 1.6 Ghz @ 600 Mhz FSB, 2mb L2 cache
1 GB DDR Ram @ 400 Mhz
9600 Pro (256mb) Have yet to OC

used to have a geforce fx go 5200 (32mb), i used the drivers on the cd (72.X) and with uber tweaks and i got it to run super smoothly on low, and even anti-aliasing at 2x.

I have a:
WidowPc Sting 917 (D900T)
Pentium 4
3.2 GHZ
2 GB of RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon X800

I bought it off ebay for around $900 and it handles BF2 great. I play on all high settings with 6xAA at 1024x768. Though at any higher resolution there is significant performance loss.

By the way anyone who is looking to buy a laptop, I recommend going with WidowPc. Their tech support is awesome and very responsive. When I bought my laptop off ebay, there was a problem with the video module and it was password protected...However, WidowPc took care of everything free of charge, and on top of that they installed Windows Xp Pro, along with a few extra goodies.

I play on my laptop and it is nothing special and it runs just fine. As long as you got a good graphics card and a lot of RAM you should be fine.

I just got my Dell XPS M170, Runs BF2 like a dream. has a GF 7800GTX 2gb DDR2

likewise, i can run every game on highest graphics.
