my friend called me today and asked me an ineresting question. he said he was playing last night and was a snipe and laid 2 claymores at a flag and then proceded to kill the enemy and take their kit which was anti tank. he then said the enemy was taking the flag he had just set the 2 claymores but no one died. he said he went up there afterwords and there were no claymores. do they disappear when u change kits like he did.

Sounds like they must.
If you think about it, as far as the game is concerned you are not a sniper anymore, so the clays don't belong to you and it is the same as if you were dead. They vanish. Lame. -
