Problem with EA Downloader!

I payed and downloaded the installer from where I shall download Euro Force.

After I have installed the downloader, and I click the .exe, it says "Core" and it is some kind of error. Afterwords it goes a bit more inside the program and this is what it ends up like.



Please help me, because I want to get to play Euro Force tonight.

SOLUTION: UNINSTALL INTERNET EXPLORER 7 BETA, AND JUST USE THE ORIGINAL INTERNET EXPLORER 6!

Hehe, didn't thought of using another browser than this buggy one. :P

I'll tell you about it later.

Edit: I tryed with Mozilla but the same. Help!

Double Edit: Trying to find a way to uninstall IE7B and install IE6 back again. :P

well to be honest its not just that
just having ie7 on your computer means that you cannot use the downloader even if you use opera or firefox
seems ea coded with ie6 code

go to add remove programs
select show updates
scroll down to the windows updates
remove internet explorer 7
restart
ie6 will be magically back
resume normal service

Well a lot of people use firfox but have downloaded IE7 just to see what it's like.

To ptegan: Yea I did too, and I love it because of the new techniques with LCD panels, it shines! But since EA Downloader didn't work out with it, I had to uninstall.

If it interests you EA said that as soon as IE7 drops out of beta then the EA-D will support it :)

I must agree that it does look very nice and finally has tabbed browsing !

i have ie6 and when i DL the installer it installs the EA Downloader icon onto the desktop and as soon as the installer is done the icon dissappears...

i have rebooted and waited for 3 hours and nothing....

so now i have no Ea downloader.exe to start DLing the friggin game...

i have ie6 and when i DL the installer it installs the EA Downloader icon onto the desktop and as soon as the installer is done the icon dissappears...

Then chose open before you start to download or download it to another directory. :)

i chose RUN and it doesnt give u a option of where to save it...
