EF, anyone else screwed over?

Anyone else screwed over by EA just because you live somewhere that they don't consider people, it's really making me mad, I was actually looking forward to this one, actually kind of forced, since it will probably be put in to the rotation of my favourite servers, and since I can't get it, I won't be playing.

I feel with you mate. But tbh I don't think we're missing out on too much.
Players from all over the world are having problems. Either with the installation, the download, the game itself not working etc.
Then there is EA believing that only a few countries should be able to get it. Mostily western european, US, and Australia will get it where as the others will just have to wait for the game to eventually be sold as a separate download code.

That is a bummer, for sure. You have to understand why though, don't you? I mean heck, do the four other people who live in iceland with you even play BF2?

I am sure they will get to you eventually.

What has nations that are not crowded to the utter hell ever done to you? There are lots of us who play BF2...

If your country has decent copyright laws try selecting a country neer you, if your country has crap or no copyright laws well your F***ed so put it bluntly.

I ran the downloader in a virtual machine with a clean install of WindowsXP plus patches, SP2.
I got the exact same error message as I get when I try to download EF from my regular gaming rig. Really funny...

I still wonder what holds EA from selling the game worldwide - at least with the credit card purchase. Not really fair for those who live in such a country, and bought BF2 in the same country.

I am but for a different reason i have no way to pay for it but to be honest im not too bothered sales of this addition will be low and the amount of complaints they will get from people like you and people like me they might give it for free in a month or less:laugh: ( i must be dreaming:cry: )

I think its kinda cool that you live in these countries, Turkey, Iceland, etc. and play BF2. Kinda get this image of like people playing in igloos or yerts or something. I'd love to go visit and play bf2 with yall.
