Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Could Shawn or anyone else comment on why this product must tie it self to the Gamespy Id .
SF did not have this problem and I wish to know why they felt the need to do it with EF.
If it has to do with protecting their product I don't blame them but I think they should have come up with a less problimatic method. It's not like they did not have the time to figure out a better method.
"I don't understand why so many people have so many accounts anyway...doesn't make ANY sense to play multiple BF2 accounts as one person.
If you have 1 computer and 2 people in the household playing Battlefield 2 at separate times, then have both people play on the same account.
Problem solved.
If you absolutely 'need' to have your own account (it means that much to you), purchase a second copy."
Why should anyone that has one legal copy and only runs it in a legal fashon have to purchase more that one copy? We are talking about a user id here as long as only one person play's at one time on one machine it should be fine.
This is total garbage and they know it. Not to mention Talus your solution would not work because it will not let you run multiple copies of EF on the same one copy of vanilla BF 2 anyway.
Ok so whats the deal here ? I downloaded euro foce with my Gamespy ID which is a different one then my Bf2 Player Name and now when i try to play on a euro force server i get some message about you must have euro force installed (which I already do) and that you must use your online name to play it or something like that. Do i need to make another Bf2 account after my gamespy ID or what ?

...in other words, throw more money at EA for a simple accounting problem that other companies have had no problem mastering? No thanks.
You can't even use the game on different XP accounts on the same machine which is beyond retarded. Stack that with multiple gamespy accounts and another validation method and it just gets even uglier.
So think about that. Now not only does a person have to login as me, with admin rights, they also have to have a separate gamespy login and spend $10 extra on Euro Forces if we switch off more than 3 times a week. That just isn't reasonable.
Well, on the bright side, they're doing a great job making Valve/Steam look intelligent.

I did the exact same thing. Sent EA a mail and am still waiting on the reply.
