Does <time playing as kit> roll into your regular BF2 stats?

Quick question... might seem stupid but I just want to confirm.

I am currently trying to get my time up with certain kits. If I play as Medic in SF, does that Medic time get rolled into the overall "time as medic" total that I've accumulated from vanilla BF2, or is there a separate total for "SF medic time played"?

I'm actually asking because of Euro Forces and figured that it'll work the same. Thanks.

All non-vanilla time effects overall time.
