Get this every time I try to buy Euroforce, where exactly do I tell it what Gamespy BF2 login is used.

It told me too that my username was already in use, but also won't let me loging with my BF2 credentials.
I had to chose a different username in order to get the download link show up in downloader. Still not working though...Comment

player name has to match exactly what you put in when you downloaded EFComment

How come my player name was already in use when I had to register all the info for EF?
I was forced to chose a different name.
IndianScout, is there any official statement from EA confirming what you just wrote?
Remember you told me I should wait until the game hits the shelves?
Well I am still getting the exact same error message as I did almost a month ago when I payed for the game.

go into the ea downloader and change the name to what your trying to use and see if your able to play then, we rank into this when we were beta testingComment

Nope didn't work, as I can't login with AlphaNut - it rejects my password...
The username and password are registered fine with gamespy (I just checked) But I can't change the downloader login name which is AlphaNu7. EA told me that the nickname must be unique and was already in use by another player when registering...Comment

if this helps anyone..cause i got confused also
you have TWO THINGS:
ea acount and a gamespy account.
when you log into the downloader, u have to use your ea account.
when playing the game..euro force, u use the gamespy account....

My EA account name is not the same as the Gamespy account name. But the Gamespy account name is tied to my EA account name. I just checked that.
Also, I can login to EA downloader no problem, I also see EF ready to download, but It won't let me. Instead it gives me this error message..
I cannot login to the downloader with my gamespy nick - the same one I use for BF2.Comment

ok dude..
if ur ea account name is good, and your gamespy account is good, the only thing left is to tie the gamespy account name to the ea account which you can do by loggin into https://account.ea.com and see what gamespy name is on the ea accountComment

Dammit.. .I cant buy the game..
I have downloaded the EA downloader...
And I have made an EA account, where I have registered my credit card... Norway/english 9,99 Euro.. ETC.
And I am ready to purchase... But I need my damn "Game Spy account".. So I figured that would be the same as my "BF2 online account.. " (When logging into the game).. I have tried "my" in game name, and my e-mail adresse, but I still keeps getting the same error...
