I saw a topic like this once before with someone being killed by a [KORD] which is the .50 cal on top of FAV's Vodniks and tanks etc. Im pretty sure its not a new vehicle added in the game thats totally invisible but it must be the same glitch where it shows another name for the vehicle that you were killed by. As some early screens show sometimes the vehicles were named slightly different.

Anyone else seen this kinda stuff before?


PS: no I didnt do the trick to change weapon/vehicle names.

I was there. As you can see from screenie.

My bet's are on the TV missile being named Hydra but I've never ever seen it before.

One of the others said it could be the boat but we were near the Alleyway checkpoint.

It's got uncle xXMMMSXx stumped.

Yeah but the question is why was it called that rather than the vehicle name.

he probably shot the missiles, then crashed into something else, then the missiles hit and kill the other person.

No idea why it happens, I have seen it happen with other vehicles, I think it was the cannon on planes. My guess is the pilot jumped out of the vehicle just after firing or something maybe. :p

or what the post above says .

Anyway my point was the hydra is not the tv missile its the small rockets :p the Hellfire is the TV Missile.

Like someone said, he probably shot teh rockets, and died before killing you, or whoever, i notice as engineer, that if someone rans over my mines, if i am on a fix gun emplacement, it will say i use that to kill them.

I would imagine that the classes are hard coded into the game and given their respective names like Hydra 70, Hellfire, 20MM cannon and so on. All of these are on the cobra but then they've coded it so that it just shows AH1-Z instead of which part of the cobra killed the person. Sometimes that code doesn't work and it shows the real name instead.

I haven't seen the hydra 70 but I've seen 20mm, KORD and the coax cannon on tanks.
