Ok, i just got BF2 installed, and i'm trying ot make an online account. problem is, everytime i do try, it says that i "You have failed to connect. please check network settings and try again." Does this have anything to do with the fact that i didn't install gamespy? If so,where can i download it? Or is it something else entirely.

Yes I think you need gamespy installed. I would just un-install the game and re-install it this time checking yes when it asks.
Also as Scinto pointed out, firewalls will block it as well. But I think you need gamespy installed though.Comment
