any one think vBF2 is too US based? I mean US its like got the best stuffs:
best stock guns
best jets ( and the most type too )
best helos
more faces
carrier (easiers for jets to reload)
better commander sound
better AA (on the carrier)

and if any one speaks chinese will notice the voice acting is crap! English is the only languege in game that sound right. playing as MEC or PRC fells the same: like same guns with different model, and 7 classses of clones.

PS chinese got the most ungly APC

Debatable. QBZ is more accurate than M4, AK74-U does more damage. AKs do more damage but are less accurate. Pump shotguns are more powerful but the Saiga is semi-auto, etc. It's all up to personal taste.

The Blackhawk, yes, but the Mi-28 is the bringer of death. The AH-1Z is more maneuverable, but it simply cannot match the death cannon on the Mi-28. The AH is almost the same as the Z-10 from what I've found.

Carrier, which is way out in the middle of freakin' nowhere. No way to get off other than flying or boating. Not good especially on maps like Wake where you start off with only the carrier.

??? Change the VO to English-only.

USMC fighters are the best since what patch?

Better AA? the essex sucks...sure it can fire a good salvo of rockets, but if any of your guys are in the air you can end up hitting it atleast once...

Stock Guns?
MEC Stock Support/Anti-Tank/Assualt (full-auto instead of USMC's 3 shot burst) are way better than the USMC's stock...and the PLA kinda got jipped, except their support is still marginally better than the USMC's

Helos?
The Havok pwns the cobra....but yeah the blackhawk is tons better than the flying cow.

Not to be rascist, but there is that joke that all asians/middle-easterns look the same :p

Carrier?
Carrier is only good because its uncappable meaning you always have an airport, but a regular runway usually has less next to it (carrier's command tower/observation deck) which makes certain fly-bys easier.

If there is a bias against the US (which I'm not inclined to believe there is), then it's small.

Who has the best weapons is largely a matter of preference. The power differences among the vehicles are more obvious, and I'll grant you that.

If a map is biased in one team's favor, it almost always is because of strategic elements other than the weapons and vehicles, usually based on where flags are. For example, USMC has the advantage on Mashtuur not necessarily because of the Blackhawk but because they usually capture the mosque first, and the ravine in the middle provides a natural defensive barrier.

um, the mi28 kicks ass man. and all transport helis are alike in that they are all effective for transport and not much else.

on wake for example, the pla has the entire map full of aa, this cancels out the essex advantage. further more, all you have to do is slow down a little and you can rearm both bombs on the airfield. how is landing on a carrier easier than an airstrip?

this game was made in america, so naturally they would work on those asspects more. plus you said best helos/jets/carrier. yeap, thats reflecting the greatest military ever. :)_ but man, the game is all balanced. mec has a faster tank.

Not since 1.21. The Chinese and MEC jets in 1.21 dominate the USMC fighters. Plus, the USMC weapons aren't better, the MEC and China ones just have different advantages. The US chopper isn't better either.

Havoc > USMC heli
Not having to fly all the way out to ocean to reload > USMC carrier.
Blending in with terrain while flying around airstrip > USMC carrier
Not being permanently grounded unable to get a flag > USMC carrier.

Weapon wise, BF2 is pretty heavily favored against USMC.

The game is as close as to the reality as it can get. The weapons and the vehicles in the game are the ones that these armies are using. Before posting, maybe you should do some research what kind of weapons are used by different armies in the world.

Maybe you should do the same? The PLA uses a Type 56, an AK-47 copy, not actual AK-47s. The USMC uses the M40 sniper rifle, not the M24.

As for USMC-based? Not really. Mi-28, AK-101, J-10, QBZ, BTR-90...

If you really want to argue, argue that the game is anti-China. China gets like the worst of everything except the J-10 and the QBZ (which no one uses anyway). It's kind of insulting that their AT and support guns are worse in every conceivable way than another army's.

Best helos? I prefer the Z10 to the other two tbh, its a nice balance.

As far as guns go Ill take the AK47 over any other standard gun anytime.

Commander voices: the USMC one makes me laugh and not in a good way :p.

I prefer the MEC APC to the USMC one :p.

As far as planes go its glaringly obvious the J-10 is the best in the game. Id also say that the SU-30 is the best bomber, in my opinion anyway.

bull ****. AKs own any US weapon. The best US has is probably the M4 and the M24. The rest are not as good as russian weapons. Plus, the US guns sound weak and puny compared to any of the others.

I agree. In my opinion the AK is just as good as the m16 from range, and better close range due to the full auto. If the m16 could go full auto it may be different. I prefer leaving the AK on full auto and just clicking off one or two shots at longer distances rather than the 3 shot burst of the m16.

I think the MEC weapons and vehicles are best. Hands down, MEC is the best, with the exception of the J-10, which is the hands down best plane in the game.
