Squad Bug

This bug may already exist but I have noticed it since the 1.21 patch. Basically I am unable to leave a squad. It usually works like this: join a squad, play through until the end of that map, wait for new map to load, try to leave the squad and finally growl in frustration as you are unable leave the squad or to spawn on the squad leader.

Anybody else witness this?

Yes.

It was in 1.2 too. You're stuck in your squad and can't leave. Yet to other people... you're not even in a squad. It's weird.

This bug as been in the game since even before the 1.03 patch.

It's only happened to me a couple of times, but if I recall correctly, both involved a server auto-team-switch (balance), and once had something to do with my original squad being locked.

It happened to me once and ****ed me off to high hell.

Also, i've spawnd right in a wall with the new patch and could not move. I did a suicide to get out and spawned this time in the deck of a floor. I couldn't move then either. It was because my SL was prone and was on a stair, and was on rock next to a building.

I've had it happen to me aswell. The only "easy" workaround I've found is to go commander and then resign. Good luck on finding the commander position empty though.
