Lag issue again...

Well after a few weeks of smooth game play I get hold of the latest patch, the one which was apparently meant to sort out all this bulls**t, and to no real surprise its made my game chopping just as it was a few weeks ago when I was told by EA to await the this recent patch.

I’m really disappointed, I’ve waited weeks for the lag issue to be resolved and for some unknown reason the game started to run fine again as it once did for months until this patch was installed.

I'm getting used to the fact that I can't play this game without it lagging.....

i have the same problem, i have no clue how to resolve it either, at first i thought i had a virus or something but its only BF that lags. its unbelievably annoying.

ya i was just playing an hour ago and out of nowhere i got so much lag it was unbelievalbe i just got a gig of ram and had about 30 ping, but the lag came out of nowhere its rellly annoying

most people say that re-installing the game or re-patching helps

Maybe for some but not for me I have not only reinstalled the game and patches but I reformatted and I see no difference. I think I am going to have to take up a hobby that EA can't ruin.

Well I don’t know, today it runs fine just like last night but just as you begin to appreciate it running like it should it lags up…

I’ve done it all with this game, its nothing to do with my computer or connection, I’ve seen enough to know that much.

EA are working on this issue they always tell me over the phone amongst other now common phrases.

Nothing that can be done my end, just have to wait and hope.

No ****, alot of people seem to be experiencing similar issues with the gamer, not talking about bugs or not hearing the sound of someones gun, i mean UNPLAYABLE gameplay! I don't know how EA/Dice have not come forward and said there is something wrong yet!

I have been experimenting lately and have come to this conclusion, lag is to do with the server you are connected to, I have been on servers where my ping is 30ish but lagging like hell, but I disconnect and connect to another server(same ping-30ish and map size-64) and get no lag. Has anyone else found this?

Playing all high @1280x1024 with 4AA
