its supposed official release date is on the 15th and will probably be download only, at least if you live in the states

i do have a EADownloader account, its how i got SF.

im seeing some confusion as to how the EURO wll be gotten.

something about needing a gamespy account, and you have to enter in your account name, link it with the phase of the moon, and check to see if you mowed your lawn on thursday???????

what about just being able to purchase it via downloader and then install it on your regular account???

anyone know?

I asked the same question over in the EuroForce forum...

With SF we were able to buy it and download it LOOOONG before it was actually released, that way we didn't have to wait to download on release day and we didn't have to mess around with servers being bogged down. Apparently the release date is the 15th, which is in 2 days.

I want to know can I get it through the downloader now, pay for it now, and just like with SF wait to install it on the 15th.

I've heard stories about it coming out in US first and Europe needing to download it, and vice versa.

i would wager that in classic EA fashion if enough 15 year olds whine that they can't ride their bike to the mall and buy it, and/or the sales are way lower than special forces were, we could see it in stores....possibly.
