Im running on a freshly upgraded computer
AMD Athlon 3200 +
1 Gig of ram.
Nvidia 6800 GS (Factory OC'D)
Shouldnt i be able to run this on high settings?
I stutter on both medium and high.
PLUS i run it at 1024 x 768
Could there be a cooling issue? I havent overheated i dont think and the case seems to be at a stable temp.

i have similar setup to u & since this latest patch (1.21) im only now able to play all LOW on 1280x124 with average 40fps, which is CRAP! cos i before this latest patch was able to play all on medium with 40fps average lol

Goto ur cache folder for BF2, located..

C:\Documents and Settings\ur name\My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache

& delete all in this foilder, then starup BF2, choose ur settings, save & play a agme for acouple of mins, then come out onto windows defrag ur drive & then try again.

i dont see how it could be that bad...i pl;ay mine @ 1280x1024 4xAA all on high with no lag and i get around 50-60 fps

The defragging didnt help. Would another gig of ram help?

My specs are like yours,

3200 @ 3800 Speeds
1.5GB DDR400
200GB IDE Seagate
6800GS @ 485/1100

Im struggling to play at 1024x768 High 2xAA, it often drops to <20fps!

I have 2gb ram, two 6800gs and an 3200+. Of course, yes, I have 2GB and 2 cards, but I never drop below 60fps at all MAX, 4xaa 1280x1024
