Patch 1.2 ruined my game, dropping my FPS from 65 to 30 and sometimes 10-15. Patch didn't affect my FPS, but my ping has been in the 60's and 70's.

I haven't seen any performance change to be completely honest. But since there's no "nVidia, no change in performance", I won't be voting in this poll.

You poll creators really do need to make sure you cover all the bases! (And post in the appropriate COMMUNITY POLLS forum...)

I have an ATI X800 Pro and haven't really noticed any change. Before 1.21 came along, I reinstalled EVERYTHING and ran the full 1.2 patch without all the other patches leading up to it. This took care of a lot of the problems.

Everyone has to realize that patching and repatching and patching again seems to be degrading the BF2 files or file structure something fierce. If you are running into low framerates or studdering, you should seriously consider wiping everything BF2 related off your system (this means registry also) and reinstalling with whatever the current full patch is. Yes, it is a pain in the butt, but it does help quite a bit.

Yeah this is a shameless bump but i do want to mention i only want to hear from those people who have noticebly seen changes in performance and how their performance has been changed. Looking for any correlation between the two card types, whether the new patch favours the ATI cards or the nVidia cards. Having two extra choices for no performance change would be pointless as its the change in performance i'm looking for.

Oh and don't forget to write your card name i.e X700, 6800gt

my nVIDIA 6800 runs it great, i havent seen a change since the patch though

its running a bit smoother on my old FX 5900XT but i still got problems with the Shaders and some black textures appearing oll over the Screen

Smoother with a X800XT PE 256MB and 6.3 Drivers.

i have no frigging idea but

my old 9800pro takes frigging twice as LONGER to verify data with 1.21 patch

i literally have to wait 5 ~ 6 min to play game and have to wait like another 5 min for lag to die down

6600gt, before 1.2 it was average. 1.2 came and gave me a massive boost in fps, then 1.21 came along and it's dropped back to what it was before 1.2.
